Karen Suejoy Miller, Neighbor

It's been a long journey of upward failures - failures in that I've fallen flat on my face with a number of endeavors which have taken me in unplanned, and largely unwanted, directions;  upward because each stumble has brought me to a new and in most ways better place, even if it hasn't yet shown up externally or in concrete ways  - that have led to this life-juncture.   I was raised in Suburban Chicago to Polish and Russian-descended musicians.  I'm an intellectual property lawyer, teacher and writer, and for the past few years, a jewelry designer.  I've traveled the world and had experiences most others only dream of.  But who I was, and what I will be are quite different things.  And who I thought I was, and who I really am are, well, what I am about to find out. I hope you will follow along on this journey.  I can't tell you what will transpire, but I promise you'll not get bored.
