Pali Production, YMCA Team Up for Video Production Summer Camp

High school video students to mentor middle school students in technical production, project development and teamwork, based in the media studio at Pali High.

Palisades Charter High School video production students team up with the Palisades-Malibu YMCA this summer for a teen youth institute video production camp called "Powered by Imagination."

Pali Production, the student video team led by teacher Sean Passan, will mentor middle school students in technical production, project development and teamwork, based in the media studio at Pali High.

Each day also includes outdoor team-building and character development activities, hikes, sports, games and fun. Participants will join production
teams to create a finished product live-to-tape program.

According to the YMCA's Executive Director Carol Pfannkuche, those who want to volunteer as mentors for the camp will need to fill out volunteer forms for the Y and complete some on-line training.

"Sean is an inspiring leader and teacher," she tells Patch. "The Y is so fortunate to have him leading this summer Y program."
