Outside Hitter from Pali Selected to Div. III Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Drew Hargrave, from Pacific Palisades and an outside hitter for Washington University of St. Louis, needs just 96 more spikes, or kills, to reach 1,000 kills in her career.

Washington University in St. Louis senior outside hitter Drew Hargrave, of Pacific Palisades, has been selected as the D3VB Player of the Week, as announced by D3VB.org.

Hargrave helped lead the No. 1-ranked Washington University volleyball team to wins over four ranked teams at the WU/ASICS National Invitational last weekend as the Bears improved to 10-0 on the season. She led the Bears in kills in three of the four matches, posting double-digit kills in each match. Hargrave finished the tournament with 54 kills (4.15 per set) and a .287 attack percentage. She also had five blocks and 15 digs to help her earn all-tournament honors for Washington University.

On the season, Hargrave leads Washington University and ranks third in the University Athletic Association (UAA) averaging 3.54 kills per set. She also leads the team and ranks second in the UAA with 99 total kills. Hargrave needs just 96 more to reach 1,000 kills in her career.

She also went to high school in Brentwood.
