St. Matthew's School Student Holds E-Waste Drive

Student's initiative to collect discarded electronics spurred through environmental education nonprofit Grades of Green.

Grace Cortese, student at St. Matthew's Parish School in Pacific Palisades, led an electronic waste drive on April 20 for Earth Month in the school's parking lot.

Cortest is a youth board member with the environmental education non-profit Grades of Green, which also held a glittering fundraiser earlier this month at the Bel Air Bay Cub.

As you can see in the photo, Cortese was able to fill several wooden pallets with discarded electronics.
