Nominations Open for Pali High Board of Trustees

Seats are available on the Palisades Charter High School trustees board. Deadline for nominations is May 2.

Six seats on the Palisades Charter High School Board of Trustees are available and open to nominations, with all terms beginning on July 1.

The available seats are for:

• Faculty member elected by faculty (two-year term)

• Faculty member elected by students (one-year term)

• Community member elected by PCHS personnel (two-year term)

• Community member elected by parents, PCHS personnel, students (two-year term)

• Parent member elected by parents (two-year term)

• Classified member chosen by classified electorate (two-year term)

Parent members must be parents of a current PCHS student for the entire term (have a 9th or 10th grade student). Parent members cannot have received compensation by the school in the last 12 months as an employee or independent contractor or be related to anyone compensated by the school within 12 months.

Community members cannot be or become a PCHS parent during the term of office. They must live in the communities served by the school. Community candidates who have experience in education, law, finance, or fundraising are preferred.

A nomination form is available online and as a PDF attached in the pictures above. The forms must be filled out and sent to Michelle Brantley at mbrantley@palihigh.org by the deadline, May 2 at 3:30 p.m. 

Candidate forums will be held on May 7 and May 9. Details are available on the nomination form.
