Woman Struck On PCH Near Temescal Canyon Road

Police seek the public's help in locating the vehicle and driver involved.

are seeking the driver of a vehicle that struck a 25-year-old woman walking on the Pacific Coast Highway near Temescal Canyon Road early Saturday morning. 

According to Officer Sara Faden, a car traveling southbound on the PCH reportedly struck the woman and failed to stop to render aid. Faden said the woman was taken to the hospital. Due to the extent of her injuries, the case is considered a felony hit-and-run. The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m.

Officers and detectives from the West LAPD Traffic Division are handling the investigation, Faden said.

She said there is no further information on the description of the vehicle. Police are seeking the public's help for information about the incident.
