Tree Branch Falls, Blocks Sunset Blvd Near Chautauqua

Los Angeles police and fire personnel remove tree branch within minutes while traffic is briefly rerouted.

A pine tree branch fell on the eastbound lane of Sunset Boulevard Monday night just east of Chautauqua Boulevard, according to Palisades Patrol.

At approx. 8:20 p.m. Monday, Pali Patrol responded to a report of a tree branch in the road somewhere between Brooktree Road and Chautauqua Boulevard. A patrol officer arrived in the area and found the pine tree branch blocking the lane on Sunset.

Pali Patrol redirected traffic around the fallen tree branch while until Los Angeles police and fire officials arrived at approximately 8:30 p.m. and moved the branch out of the roadway.
