UPDATE: Police Recover 14 Marijuana Plants From Pali Home

According to LAPD, a house in the 500 block of Bieveneda Avenue was used to grow marijuana.

The West Los Angeles Narcotics Enforcement Detail and West Los Angeles senior lead officers recovered 14 marijuana plants, grow lamps and ballast after serving a search warrant at a Pacific Palisades home around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

According to Los Angeles Police Department Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore, the suspects were using the location, which is in the 500 block of Bienvenda Avenue, to grow marijuana.

Police told Pali Patch the plants seized at the address have a wholesale value of $732.

A Palisadian emailed Pali Patch following the search saying the neighborhood was "abuzz" due to police activity.

Police say the suspects appeared to have harvested the plants for the first time and were "in the process of utilizing the entire house" for future crops.

According to police no arrests were made, but the suspects are known to the narcotics officers and will be arrested when located. Police also say the home on Bienvenda was owned by one of the suspects but may be in foreclosure.
