Police Arrest 73-Year-Old in Connection with Pacific Palisades Hit-and-Run
The Valentine's Day accident left a 28-year-old man severely injured.
A 73-year-old woman has been arrested in suspicion of striking with her car a 28-year-old man on Valentine’s Day as he was crossing Pacific Coast Highway at Temescal Canyon, and fleeing the scene.
Los Angeles Police Department officials arrested Monday Anna Soon Ma, a resident of Fullerton.
At 7:55 p.m., a 28-year-old man was walking across PCH in a marked, flashing pedestrian crosswalk, when a silver 2010 Toyota Prius collided with him, according to the LAPD.

“The driver left the scene without providing information or medical attention to the victim as required by law,” according to a news release. The arrest is on suspicion of felony charges.
The victim, suffering severe head trauma, was airlifted to a local hospital, where he remains, according to the LAPD.

Ma is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
