Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Vehicle Stolen, School Signs Vandalized

In this week's crime report, a vehicle is stolen from a carport and a suspect writes graffiti on school signs.

The following crimes were reported between Nov. 21-Dec. 3. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary

1200 block of Rimmer Ave.

  • When: Between Nov. 26 at 9 p.m. and Nov. 27 at 6:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window to enter the victim’s garage and took a bicycle.

15800 block of Pacific Coast Hwy.

  • When: Between Dec. 1 at 9 a.m. and Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked storage container and took paddle boards and surfboards.

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

14300 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Dec. 3 between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took a purse, wallet, money and sunglasses.

Stolen Vehicles

16400 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Dec. 2 between 12:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim’s vehicle from a carport.

Vandalism

400 block of Entrada Dr.

  • When: Between Nov. 23 at 2:45 p.m. and Nov. 28 at 8 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect wrote graffiti on school traffic signs.

15400 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Between Dec. 2 at 8 a.m. and Dec. 3 at 8 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect cut wires on a credit card reader inside the victim’s gas pump.

Other Crimes

100 block of West Channel Rd.

  • When: Between Nov. 28 10:30 p.m. and Nov. 29 at 6:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim’s bicycle from the victim’s property.

1400 block of Allenford Ave.

  • When: Nov. 21 between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim’s unattended viola from a school playground.
