Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Suspect Punches Clerk, Steals Beer

The following crimes were reported between May 13 and May 19. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Robbery

14800 block of Pacific Coast Hwy.

• When: May 19 at 7:55 p.m. 
• What happened: Two suspects, a male and a female, entered the victim's business and took two cases of beer. The suspects exited the business without paying for the beer. When confronted, the male suspect punched the store clerk several times. The suspects then fled in a vehicle. The first suspect was described by police as a 20- to 25-year-old Hispanic male, who was 5'5" tall and weighed about 205 pounds. The second suspect was described by police as a 20- to 25-year-old Hispanic female, who was 5'1" tall and weighed about 150 pounds.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

600 block of East Channel Rd.

• When: Between May 18 at 8 p.m. and May 19 at 9 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a briefcase.

Burglary

1000 block of El Medio

• When: Between May 14 at 11 p.m. and May 15 at 5 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect pried open a window to enter the victim's home and took money and music CDs.

1000 block of Palisair Pl.

• When: May 15 between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim's home and took a purse, money and jewelry.

600 block of Alma Real Dr.

• When: Between May 13 at 9 p.m. and May 14 at 8 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect forced open a window on the victim's home office and took a computer and a golf club.

Petty Theft

17300 block of Sunset Blvd.

• When: May 17 between 6:05 p.m. and 6:10 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked office and took a wallet, money and iPhone.

Vandalism

1500 block of Palisades Dr.

• When: May 16 between 10 a.m. and 2:20 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle.

16500 block of Sunset Blvd.

• When: Between May 11 at 4:30 p.m. and May 14 at 8:05 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect threw a watermelon at the victim's vehicle causing a dent.
