The following crimes were reported between June 3 and June 11. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Grand Theft Auto
200 block of Amalfi Dr.
- When: Between June 5 at 5 p.m. and June 6 at 7:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect took the victim's vehicle from a driveway.
900 block of Bienveneda Ave.
- When: June 7 at 5 p.m.
- What happened: Two suspects took the victim's vehicle after an argument over tools. The first suspect was described by police as a 50- to 60-year-old Hispanic man with black/gray hair, brown eyes, 5'2" and about 170 pounds. The second suspect was described by police as a 45-year-old white woman with red hair, 5'3", and about 100 pounds.
700 block of Muskingum Ave.
- When: Between June 5 at 10 p.m. and June 6 at 6:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect attempted to punch the ignition on the victim's van but was unable to take the vehicle.
400 block of Puerto Del Mar
- When: Between June 5 at 10 p.m. and June 6 at 6:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect attempted to punch the ignition on the victim's van but was unable to take the vehicle.
Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle
500 block of Tahquitz Pl.
- When: Between June 5 at 6:30 p.m. and June 6 at 7:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took money.
Sunset Boulevard at Temescal Canyon Road
- When: June 9 between 7:10 a.m. and 8 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window to enter the victim's vehicle and took a backpack, iPad and journal.
Las Casas Avenue at Sunset Boulevard
- When: Between June 8 at 4:45 p.m. and June 9 at 10 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a laptop computer.
Sunset Boulevard at Temescal Canyon Road
- When: June 8 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a wallet and money.
Sunset Boulevard at Temescal Canyon Road
- When: June 9 between 7:15 a.m. and 8:20 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a dress.
1000 block of Fiske St.
- When: Between June 8 at 9 p.m. and June 9 at 6:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took money and sunglasses.
16000 block of Temecula St.
- When: June 8 between 12 a.m. and 9:20 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took contact lens fluid.
1100 block of Hartzell St.
- When: June 9 between 12 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took money, tools and sunglasses.
700 block of Hartzell St.
- When: Between June 8 at 11 p.m. and June 9 at 8:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and but did not take any property.
Burglary
15200 block of De Pauw St.
- When: Between June 8 at 9 p.m. and June 11 at 3 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect cut away the door jamb to enter the victim's home and took a camera.
300 block of Las Casas Ave.
- When: Between May 24 at 12 p.m. and June 4 at 10 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked home and took money and firearms.
700 block of Brooktree Rd.
- When: Between June 5 at 4:30 p.m. and June 6 at 8:15 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect burned off a padlock on a storage container to take the victim's construction tools.
Petty Theft
500 block of Las Casas Ave.
- When: June 5 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect took swings from the victim's front yard.
Vandalism
500 block of Tahquitz Pl.
- When: Between June 4 at 5 a.m. and June 6 at 10:15 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle.
Defrauding DMV
16700 block of Livorno Dr.
- When: June 9 at 11:45 p.m.
- What happened: A 46-year-old man was arrested for defrauding DMV during a trespass investigation.
DUI
1000 block of Bienveneda Ave.
- When: June 10 at 1:20 a.m.
- What happened: A 20-year-old man was arrested for DUI after being involved in a traffic collision.
