Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Man Kicks Out Police Car Window

In this week's crime roundup, a man is arrested after he kicks out a rear window of a police vehicle.

The following crimes were reported between April 29 and May 5. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

16900 block of Livorno Dr.

  • When: Between May 2 at 5:15 p.m. and May 3 at 4:30 a.m. 
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's vehicle and took the third row seat, golf clubs and tennis rackets.

300 block of Sycamore Rd.

  • When: Between April 30 at 7:20 p.m. and May 1 at 7:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took an iPad and iPod.

17300 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: April 30 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a wallet, purse and money.

Burglary

15800 block of Seabec Cir.

  • When: Between May 2 at 6:45 p.m. and May 3 at 8:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked home and took an iPad.

Vandalism

Pacific Coast Highway at Temescal Canyon Road

  • When: May 5 at 9:45 p.m.
  • What happened: A 27-year-old man was arrested for felony vandalism after kicking out the rear passenger window of a police vehicle.

El Medio Avenue at Sunset Boulevard

  • When: Between March 30 at 8 p.m. and April 1 at 2 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect peeled off the seal between the window and door of the victim's vehicle and poured an unknown chemical into the vehicle.

500 block of Radcliffe Ave.

  • When: Between April 27 at 6 p.m. and April 28 at 6 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect shut off the water supply to the victim's pool causing damage to the new plaster finish.

Haverford Avenue at Bowdoin Street

  • When: April 12 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect made a large dent on the roof of the victim's vehicle.

Battery

15700 block of Bowdoin St.

  • When: May 3 at 11:50 a.m.
  • What happened: A 17-year-old male was arrested for battery after grabbing the victim by the neck and throwing her to the ground.
