Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: DUI, Burglar Flees When Confronted by Housekeeper

DUI

An 18-year-old man was arrested at 5:25 a.m. on Dec. 5 at the intersection of Entrada Drive and Pacific Coast Highway. He was charged with driving under the influence after being stopped for a traffic violation, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglar flees when confronted by housekeeper

At 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the 200 block of Rockingham Avenue, the suspect, described as a heavy set white man, kicked open a door to a home but fled when confronted by the housekeeper.

Vehicle and home burglaries

  • Between Dec. 4 at 10 p.m. and Dec. 5 at 7:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Haverford Avenue, a suspect smashed the window to a vehicle and took a backpack, wallet, jewelry and credit cards.
  • Between Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 7:30 a.m. in the 16100 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a backpack, purse, money, notebook computer, camera and credit cards.
  • On Dec. 7 between 2 and 7 p.m. in the 300 block of Sycamore Road, a suspect forced open the door to a victim's home to enter and took a laptop computer.

Stolen poinsettias

On Dec. 9 between 5 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. in the 600 block of Kingman Avenue, a suspect took two poinsettias off a front porch.
