Nanny Observes Burglary but Doesn't Notify Police

Police blotter: Also, a purloined baby stroller, a theft starts with a smashed window and a man wanted on narcotics charges gets hooked.

Between 2:30-2:50 p.m. on Feb. 5, police received a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Monument Street.  The suspects, two males in their 20s, entered victim's property and took money, computers and a game system. A neighbor’s nanny observed the suspects entering victim's backyard but did not notify police. 

Also:

Between 9:30-10 a.m. Jan. 31, a petty theft was reported in the 800 block of Via de la Paz. According to police, the suspect took victim's stroller from in front of a preschool

Sometime between 8 p.m. Feb. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 4, a caller reported a grand theft in the 16100 Sunset Boulevard. The suspect entered victim's carport and took victim's bicycle. 

At 5:05 p.m. Feb. 6, police arrested a 45-year-old man who had a warrant out for his arrest on narcotics charges in the 14800 block of Sunset Boulevard.

Between 10 p.m. Feb. 7 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 8, a petty theft was reported in the 300 block of Amalfi. The suspect took victim's car covers. 

At 3:50 p.m. Feb. 10, someone reported a burglary in the 200 Pintoresca Drive. A suspect smashed a window to enter victim's home and took a laptop computer, money, and purse and fled when confronted by the victim.
