Los Angeles Fire Department Rescues Distressed Hiker in Pacific Palisades

The hiker was found uninjured in the Parker Overlook.


The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call of a hiker in distress in the Pacific Palisades at approximately 5:35 p.m. on Sunday evening.

The hiker was discovered at the Parker Overlook. Paramedics were lowered from a helicopter to evaluate the hiker who was not injured but merely lost and unable to hike out of the remote area.

LAFD said the hiker was hoisted out of the area by helicopter and brought to safety.
