Helicopter Rescues 2 Distressed Hikers in Pacific Palisades

The two women were taken to Marquez Elementary School for further evaluation but were released at the scene without serious injury.

Los Angeles firefighters rescued two distressed hikers by helicopter from the trail between Los Lions and Topanga just north of the Getty Villa near the dam Wednesday night.

Two female victims in their 20s were transported by air ambulance to Marquez Elementary School for further evaluation by Los Angeles Fire Department rescue ambulance and Engine 19 personnel, reported Palisades Patrol.

Both victims were treated and released at the scene without serious injury.
