Sunset Bridge Construction to Cause Freeway Closures
According to Metro, Sepulveda Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard and the 405 Freeway will close intermittently through the end of August.
According to Metro, a contractor will be pouring the deck for the Sunset Bridge on three nights in August. The work will require full closures of Sepulveda Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard and the 405 Freeway.
The expected closures are as follows:
Aug. 23

- 10 p.m.-6 a.m.: Sunset Bridge will be closed.
- 12 a.m.-5 a.m.: The northbound 405 Freeway will be closed from Montana Avenue to Moraga Drive.
Aug. 29
- 10 p.m.-6 a.m.: Sunset Bridge will be closed.
- 12 a.m.-5 a.m.: The southbound 405 Freeway will be closed from the Sunset Boulevard off ramp to Wilshire Boulevard.
