Southbound 405 to Close For Freeway Restriping
Lanes will start to close Wednesday at 10 p.m.
The southbound 405 Freeway will close from the Getty ramps to Sunset Boulevard late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning while crews restripe freeway lanes.
The southbound Getty on-ramp may close as early as 7 p.m. Wednesday and freeway lane closures will start at 10 p.m. According to Metro, full lane closures will be in effect from midnight to 5 a.m. Thursday.
Metro officials suggest that motorists traveling southbound on the 405 Freeway Wednesday night and early Thursday morning take the following detour:

- From the southbound 405 Freeway, exit at the Getty off-ramp onto Sepulveda Boulevard, and then take southbound Church Lane to get back onto the freeway.
