Sidewalk Repair at Swarthmore/Sunset

Be mindful walking into the streets in Pacific Palisades during peak construction and driving times.

With the last month's dead tree and stump removals by the Bureau of Street Services, I started noticing repairs picking up on various sidewalks and intersections around Pacific Palisades.

On Thursday, I quickly saw the sidewalk area near the Mobile gas station where workers were ripping up and putting in fresh cement, clearly marked for pedestrians to walk around. That work is being done by Mobile and not the city, but I have seen a couple of other small cordoned off projects in and around Sunset Boulevard.

Are you seeing little sidewalk repair projects near you?

Not sure. There's not always an immediate answer to helicopters circling. Did anyone else hear orRead More see this? How long did it last? Was it just 1 copter or many police units?
