Security Guard Says Cougar Chased Him in Huntington Area

Fire officials respond to a call that a Huntington-area security guard was chased by a mountain lion Monday.

Fire officials responded to a call Monday from a Huntington-area security guard who said he had been chased by a cougar, also known as a mountain lion.

According to the Los Angeles City Fire Station 69 journal, the guard stated that he was chased by a cougar at about 9:30 a.m. in the area of North Ocampo Drive. By the time firefighters arrived, the mountain lion was nowhere to be found.
