Pacific Palisades will count itself as the first to experience an entirely new concept in fitness and wellness, bringing together technology and exercise innovation to create Studio K Training, opening in May at 17351 Sunset Blvd.
According to Studio K's spokesman Ido Kadman, Studio K will boast the most technologically-advanced equipment and programing available to its limited membership. Proprietary K Training classes will be available to the greater community and offer a uniquely efficient functional training & cardiovascular workout performed in small groups led by Master K Trainers.
"There exists a gap in today’s modern fitness market that can often fall short of providing progressive wellness methodology coupled with a truly exceptional guest experience. Studio K transcends these limitations and caters to our time-constrained and wellness-minded clients,” said Bryan Green, Founder & fitness Industry veteran.
In partnership with world renowned Italian-based equipment manufacturer Technogym, the facility will feature cardiovascular, strength training and group exercise equipment positioned to drive exercise efficiency well beyond the traditional health club.
Studio K Palisades is perched just above street level within the modern architecture of the newly-designed Rockwell Residences. The entry to the building is framed by a dramatic stadium stair set encapsulated by massive charred wood planters.
Studio K’s signature copper tone accents are highlighted by an abundance of natural light, and attention to detail is obvious in every facet of the space.
“In Los Angeles alone there are so many facilities that make great contributions to the wellness of the city," said Gretchen Ritter, founding partner with Green and managing director. "We felt that we could go even further and redefine the features of an exercise space, according to our philosophy and with integration of feedback from the local community.”
Studio K has partnered with specialty nutrition, beverage, and apparel providers to complement its unique offering including Aquahydrate, Pressed Juicery, WOD Gear apparel, and Eat Well LA.
Surrounded by the beautiful Palisades landscape, Studio K aims to be an inspiration for its guests.
“Our focus is to provide a motivating and inviting environment for exercise participants at all conditioning levels so that they never feel unchallenged or under cared for when spending their time in facility, Ritter added.
K Training classes are 50-minute sessions performed in small groups within the specialized studio. The sessions utilize specially designed cable-based wall systems that incorporate proven exercise genres such as core training, Pilates, sports conditioning, and yoga.
