Adult Creative Writing Contest Winners Honored in Palisades

Several Palisadians were honored March 23 at the library as winners of the second annual adult creative writing contest. It was organized by the Friends of the Pacific Palisades Branch Library.

The contest's four submission categories were short story, memoir, one-Act Play (set in a library) and poem. As in 2012 at the awards ceremony, actors dramatized the first, second, and thrid place winners for each category.

Some of the contest winners and actors who participated on March 23 include Joan Koller Barnes, Richard Sternberg, Leslie Campbell, Kurt Toppel, Bill Jones (actor), Howard Kern and Christine Kludijan (actor).
