Pacific Palisades Weekend Wrap-Up: Aug. 13-14

Maybe you stayed home this weekend with a good book or a movie. Perhaps you hopped on a plane or sailed overseas. Whatever you chose to do with your Saturday and Sunday, Pali Patch has no doubt it was memorable. After all, with the beach on one side and the mountains on the other, Palisadians know how to make the most of a day off.

Movie Night at Will Rogers State Historic Park
Wendy Price Anderson sent in photos of people gathering to watch Too Busy to Work, starring Will Rogers Friday night. Many set up their chairs and blankets at not only to watch the flick under the stars, but also to enjoy food from two gourmet food trucks as well as tours of Rogers' ranch house. The best part: free popcorn!

Palisadian Meets Wild Pandas
Pali Patch recently posted an article about a Junior heading off to China as part of the Green Explorer Program. sent in some highlights from his first few days in China. He even got to meet a giant panda in Yingjing, China!
