Check out these fun activities in the community this weekend.

The weekend is nearly here and thanks to Presidents Day that means three days of downtime. With a mix of rain and sunshine in the forecast, we offer a variety of events on PaliPatch's radar to check out this weekend. Don't forget your umbrella, just in case!

Sorry, Tiger Woods is not playing in this one, but many of the PGA Tour’s top names are participating. Come out to see some great professional golf, and perhaps gain some ideas on how to improve your swing.

You have just three more chances to see the drama set during the Depression about a boy who loses his mother at a young age and meets an out-of-town preacher. For more on the play, go .

Richard Foss of the Culinary Historians of Southern California discusses drinks of the English Regency Period in honor of the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen’s first publication.

Docents lead tours of the famous Ranch House every weekend. Play tourist in your own backyard. Go for the first time or for the first time in a long time. Either way, it’s a way to have fun with great visuals and perhaps learn something new.

When: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a new tour each hour
