Pacific Palisades Community Council Meeting

October 10, 2013, 7 PM at the Palisades Library.  The meeting includes guest speaker Gary Goelitz, who is the Senior Vice President of the MATRIX Consulting Group, who will speak regarding the plans for the City of Los Angeles to create a new Department by combining the Departments of Building and Safety and City Planning. Additional related functions from the Departments of Public Works, Bureau of Engineering, Fire, and Transportation will be transferred to the new Department. The City of LA hired MATRIX to develop a plan for the consolidation of these functions. Mr. Geolitz will discuss MATRIX's September 28 2013 "Presentation to the Congress of Neighborhoods Regarding the Analysis of a New Development Services Department".
