Rihanna Bids Farewell to Pacific Palisades, Neighbors Happy

After yet another attempt to break into the pop star's house last weekend, Rihanna packed up her things and is now heading for new digs in New York.

Pacific Palisades residents are used to celebrities living in their midst, but that doesn’t mean they always want them there.

Neighbors of the singer, Rihanna on Rivas Canyon Road, said they were happy when they heard she was moving out of the $12 million mansion she bought in the area last year.

Rihanna made the decision just days after a man tried to break into her home last weekend by throwing a chair through her sliding glass door. It’s apparently not the first time thieves have tried to access the star’s home.  But last weekend’s attempt was apparently the final straw. A  moving van was spotted outside Rihanna’s house on Tuesday and the singer has decided to relocate to New York.
