Mick's Cafe, self-described as "an English garden," is a group of small patios nearly hidden on Swarthmore, tucked between Beech Street Cafe and The Cottage boutique. The cafe is owned and operated by London-born Mick Hoiles and family, who have lived in Pacific Palisades since 1979. Mick's offers coffee, pastries, salads, paninis, soups, quiche and breakfast items. Formal afternoon tea can be ordered at the cafe or arranged for showers and business meetings. Occasional live music and dinner/show events are held, and the cafe offers free Wi-Fi. The shop in the back sells pastries, cakes, teas and miniature collectible tea sets.
