Palisadian Takes Top Honors at San Diego Martial Arts Championship

Tamar Springer is a brown belt at Gerry Blanck's Martial Arts Center in Pacific Palisades.

Palisadian Tamar Springer, a brown belt at , won three first place trophies and a second place at the American Open Martial Arts Championships in San Diego over Labor Day weekend. Blanck said Springer recently tested for her black belt and is waiting for the results and certificate from Japan.

Her next competition will be the World Yoshukai Karate Championship in Dothan, AL in November.
