The junior anchors Harvard-Westlake High's record-setting distance medley relay team.

Palisadian , a junior at Harvard-Westlake High, proved once again that she is one of the best prep distance runners in the country at last weekend's Arcadia Invitational Track Meet.

After running the 800-meter anchor leg in two minutes, 12 seconds to lead the Wolverines to victory in the 1600 sprint relay on Friday—the second fastest time in meet history—Chapus returned the next day to anchor the school's distance medley relay team to a runaway victory.

After a seeding time of 11:46.74, Harvard-Westlake won the final race in a meet record 11:40.89—the second-fastest time in state history. The Wolverines were nearly 23 seconds ahead of second-place Saugus.
