Palisades-Malibu YMCA Tae Kwon Do Competitors Place in Tournament

It's the first year youth Taw Kwon Do classes have been offered at the local YMCA.

In the 18th annual World Martial Arts Tournament for the YMCA of Greater Los Angeles, several members of the Palisades-Malibu YMCA team won or placed high in their respective competitions.

First place certificates were awarded to competitors Mason Wein, white and yellow belt foam sword, Angela Lyman and Thaine Lyman, blue and green belt Foam Sword and Angela Lyman, forms. Other Palisades-Malibu YMCA team winners include Emma Lyman, second place, forms and Oliver Waxstein, and third place in breaking.

Youth Tae Kwon Do was offered for the first time this year at Palisade-Malibu YMCA.
