Pali Polo Tournament Enjoyed During Carmageddon II

Perennial Financial Services did the impossible and took home the coveted polo tournament trophy for the fourth consecutive year.

Palisadians dealt with Carmageddon II the best way they knew how: Staying local. The Chamber of Commerce reported great turnout to its 20th Annual Polo Tournament last weekend at Will Rogers State Park.

"Palisadians were terrific during Carmegeddon weekend," said Chamber President Nicole Howard. "They stayed close to home by shopping and eating in the Palisades. And on Sunday they were at Will Rogers State Historic Park watching great polo."

Perennial Financial Services did the impossible, the chamber added. They actually four-peated by nosing out Wells Fargo Private Bank 7-6. And now four years in a row Perennial Financial has won the coveted polo trophy.

Howard congratulated the participating teams, including the Pacific Palisades Lions Club, Amalfi Estates, First Capital Mortgage, Liberty Mutual Insurance and Wells Fargo all gave it their best, but they couldn't beat Perennial Financial Services.

"Congratulations to Palisadians for dealing with another Carmegeddon by
enjoying the beauty of what their town has to offer," she added.
