Pali Karate Studio's Grand Master Yamamoto Pays a Visit

Tenth-degree gold belt Master Yamamoto helped lead the Annual Summer Seminar Workout at Gerry Blanck's Martial Arts Center in Pacific Palisades.

Grand Master Yamamoto, a 10th degree gold belt, head of the Yoshukai Karate style and grand master to Gerry Blanck's Martial Arts Center in Pacific Palisades, visited the dojo in Southern California on July 13 as one of the last stops on his U.S. tour

Master Yamamoto helped lead the Annual Summer Seminar Workout at Gerry Blanck's Martial Arts Center. He's celebrating his 50th Anniversary of Yoshukai Karate, and turned 75 years old on the day of his arrival to Pacific Palisades, as well.

Gerry Blanck said Master Yamamoto has trained literally over a million people in his career and has thousands of black belts all over the world. Master Yamamoto came with the two U.S. Yoshukai directors, 8th degree Master Toyama and 7th degree Mike Culbreth, to help Gerry Blanck celebrate his 31st Anniversary in the Palisades, which culminated with a big party at the Pearl Dragon.
