Pacific Palisades Man Takes Third Place in Herbalife Triathlon LA

Sean Jefferson, 31, completed last weekend's race in 1 hour, 54 minutes and 46 seconds.

A Pacific Palisades man was the first West Los Angeles area resident to cross the finish line of the Herbalife Triathlon LA Sunday, according to online race results.

Thirty-one-year-old Sean Jefferson took third place with a time of 1 hour, 54 minutes and 46 seconds, beating out Chris Foster, 31, of Redondo Beach by one second.

Kevin Everett, 38, of Boise ID, took first place in one hour, 52 minutes and 28 seconds. The first place woman was Radka Vodickova, 29, of the Czech Republic, in two hours, 3 minutes and seven seconds.

Thirty-five-year-old Jim Lunbinski of Santa Monica finished in 10th place. 

Four other Pacific Palisades residents successfully completed the race. Eric Carysfort, 40, took 30th place with a time of 2:19:35; Keith Newall, 50, took 58th position with a time of 2:29:32; Caroline Bird, 49, took 190th place with a time of 2:49:24; and Katja Dreyer, 37, took 247th place with a time of 2:57:12.
