Four Palisades High Spikers Voted All-City

The CIF Los Angeles City Section committee has released its All-City boys volleyball teams and four Palisades High players are on this season's Division I squad.

Making the first team for the City Division I runner-up Dolphins are senior outside/opposite hitter and co-captain and senior setter and co-captain . Both players also made the All-Western League first team and Scharf was league Player of the Year.

Ryan Sikorsky of Granada Hills was named Player of the Year and Highlanders Coach Tom Harp was named Coach of the Year after leading the West Valley League winners to the City Division 1 championship and the second round of the Southern Californa Regional playoffs.

Rounding out the first team are Albert Tercero and Eugenio Moreno of Sun Valley Poly, Anthony Stepanov of Woodland Hills Taft, Bryan Sotelo of West Adams Prep, Jose Juarez, Robert Nguyen and Sean Greene of Granada Hills, Matt Pimblett of Carson and Paulo Lepua and Rendu Parras of Harbor City Narbonne.

Making the second team from Palisades are senior libero/outside hitter and junior libero/outside hiter . Both also made the All-Western league team.

Rounding out the All-City Division I second team are Alex Moreno and Steven Garcia of Sylmar, Terrance Bautista of LA Marshall, Cory Pitt of Lake Balboa Birmingham, Deshawn Green and Edwin Reyes of Van Nuys, Errol Basconcillo of Narbonne, Andre Cataluna of San Pedro and Manual Sanchez of Poly.

Cesar Medina of LA Jordan was named Player of the Year in Division 2 and Raymond Gonzalez of Elizabeth Learning Center was named Player of the Year in the Small Schools Division.
