Jump Rope For Heart

Palisades Elementary Charter School has various community service events a year.  In conjunction with the American Heart Association's established program, Jump Rope For Heart is an all school jump that promotes the value of physical activity and 'heart health' to our students while showing them they can contribute to their community's welfare. Students can jump rope in honor of family or friends with heart disease and can also elect to secure sponsors for the event, thereby raising money for the fight against heart disease and stroke while learning about the seriousness of heart disease and stroke, the lifelong benefits of physical activity and the importance of living a heart-healthy lifestyle.
