Video: Achievements on Display at Pali High

Watch the privately donated Pali High banners go up along Temescal Canyon Road.

A fantastic display of fresh faces now lines Temescal Canyon Road from Sunset to the end of the Pacific Palisades Charter High School's football field. The group People for Palisades High collected private donations to put up the banners Wednesday.

"Not only does it help the community know what is involved with the school—and the school is here—and putting out great, fantastic students each year, but it kind of highlights every one of the events and some of the academic specialties that the school is involved with," said Patrick Foley, whose Foley Advertising was responsible for posting each banner with care.

Foley had his hands full Wednesday afternoon but says many other people helped prepare the banners. "Usually one person heads up the entire project. This was a group effort," he said. "It was tremendous how everyone came together and this is the final project and it seems that everyone is really pleased by it."

So far, there are 15 banners featured along the perimeter of Pali High. Two other banners will be moved from inside the campus to Temescal after graduation. In addition, two more banners will go up shortly after the Fourth of July.

People for Palisades High hopes to add even more banners. If you would like to help, a donation of $325 will add another smiling face to the collection. If you are interested in submitting a photo, be sure it is a high-resolution image, as it will be blown up to meet the banner size. For more information, click here.
