The Yogurt Shoppe Donates to Boy Scouts, Calvary Christian, Corpus Christi

The shop's Happy Hour fundraisers are helping schools and organizations in the Pacific Palisades area.

owners Kevin Sabin and Clive Lewis presented Boy Scout Troop 400, and with donation checks over the past few weeks.

The donations are thanks to the shop's daily Happy Hour fundraisers, during which a percentage of sales from 5-7 p.m. go to a local organization.

Troop 400 received $511.95, Calvary Christian received $517.38 and Corpus Christi picked up a check for $572.08, the highest amount raised in 2012!

Last week, Happy Hour funds were raised for a locally-run foundation called griefHaven.

"[griefHaven] supports people that have suffered a loss of a child—quite an amazing cause," said Sabin.

Since Happy Hour fundraisers began, the shop has raised $10,168.60 for local organizations. In 2011, the shop donated a total of $9,139.27 by way of Happy Hour alone!
