The Yogurt Shoppe Donates Over $500 to Pali High Lacrosse

The money will help the boys and girls teams buy uniforms and helmets.

has made it a tradition to host Happy Hours, which benefit local schools and organizations. On Friday, the lacrosse teams got the big check.

Peter Greene, who works with the boys and girls lacrosse teams accepted the check from shop owners Kevin Sabin and Clive Lewis for $567.59. Greene said this will help the teams buy uniforms and helmets.

"We are excited," said Greene. "In these economic times, it's tough. Everything helps."

The Yogurt Shoppe has been donating 15 percent of their profits from 5-7 p.m. to the groups like the lacrosse team. In September, t to the .

"It's a great feeling," said Sabin. "I'm a local guy. I live here, my kids go to school here. It's a way to give back and support the community."
