The grounds of Marquez Charter Elementary School received a productive day of pruning and landscaping on Sunday, May 5.

Marquez friends and PTA members said Randy Ritchie of Malibu Compost donated substantial amounts of his organic and fully composted product for the work, as well as educated the school team and parents on the benefits and recent rise in the trend of biodynamic gardening and the dangers of chemical quick fixes and lot of handy tips.
