Pali High Water Polo Team Wins CIF City Championships

Pali High defeats Birmingham High School 13-10 to take the championship, only into its second year competing in water polo.

Palisades Charter High School won the Los Angeles City Section CIF Fall Championship last week, defeating Birmingham High School 13-10 to end a memorable season. Both teams came into the match undefeated, and the game was played in the pool at L.A. Valley College in North Hollywood.

Pali goalie Jake Venkus had 11 saves in the game and when the team won, head coach Adam Blakis jumped into the pool with his players to celebrate

Pali High is only in its second year of water polo.
