Harlem Globetrotters Slam Dunk Anti-Bullying Message at Palisades School

Two Globetrotters came to Calvary Christian School in Pacific Palisades to talk about "The ABC's of Bullying Prevention."

As a sharp focus in education remains on the topic of bullying in the schools, Calvary Christian School in Pacific Palisades is making an effort to address and prevent it. With a presentation specifically designed in correlation with the National Campaign to Stop Violence, the Harlem Globetrotters' "Tiny" Sturgess and "Flight Time" Lang visited the school on Thursday, Feb. 14 with an empowering message on "The ABC's of Bullying Prevention."

At 7'8'' Sturgess is the tallest professional basketball player in the world.

The presentation served as a community outreach campaign that focuses on the Globetrotter mission of connecting with kids. As a role model for today’s youth, Tiny and Flight Time have brought their skills beyond the hard court for an engaging 30-minute assembly that used ball-handling wizardry and student interaction to address important issues facing young students.
