College Money Consulting announces FREE pop-up weekends of one-on-one consulting services for students preparing FAFSA, CSS Profile, and other common and specific applications for college financial aid.  Available  weekends (Saturday and Sunday, February 18th/25th and 19th/26th) the goal is to help as many college-bound students and their families make sure that they have the very best possible financial aid packages available for submission.  "With student debt 'pushing an increasing number of young people and their families toward bankruptcy' (LA Times, Feb 8th), it is critical for students to seek to maximize scholarships, grants, and all forms of aid from all available sources," - Paul Young, a 23 year Main Street money advocate, founder of College Money Consulting, he is former editor of Main Street Money daily webzine and a national all-media finance writer/commentator/Main Street advocate.  Also, former consultant to LA Mission College, guest lecturer SCMA finance section at Pepperdine University, contributor to three financial / money management books since 1990. 

Appointments are absolutely mandatory.  FREE one-on-one initial consults available each Saturday and  Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Students absolutely must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  If not, the appointment will not go forward.  Weekday and other time frames will be accepted by appointment only.

Purpose:  To help students and families prepare the best possible, honest, properly prepared, full and complete financial aid packages for submission to colleges and universities.
