Former Mayor Pays Homage to Former President: Riordan Recites Gettysburg Address

In honor of the anniversary of Lincoln's birthday on Saturday, the former proprietor of the now-defunct Village Pantry and Oak Room, and Gladstones-4-Fish pays tribute to our 16th president.

Hundreds of people turned out to the Los Angeles National Cemetery in nearby Westwood on Saturday for the 19th annual Abraham Lincoln Day of Remembrance.  Former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan recited Lincoln's historic Gettysburg Address in front of a packed house.

February 12th was the 202nd anniversary of President Lincoln's birth.
