Woman Struck by Vehicle at PCH/Temescal

Los Angeles Fire Department transports accident victim to area hospital by helicopter.

Updated 2:15 p.m., March 25:

A woman was transported to an area hospital Monday morning with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at 15820 Pacific Coast Highway at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LAFD spokesperson Katherine Main said the accident occured at 9:29 a.m. and the woman was transported by helicopter, which arrived at the hospital at 10:05 a.m.

According to LAPD's West Traffic Division, the woman, who is 53 years old, suffered a fractured foot. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and was not charged.
