Woman Killed in Traffic Accident on Temescal

A woman is killed at the corner of Temescal Canyon Road and Bowdoin Street after the Pali High graduation ceremony Thursday night.

According to the Los Angeles City Fire Department, a woman who appeared to be in her 40s was killed in a traffic accident after the Pacific Palisades Charter High School graduation Thursday night.

The crew from Fire Station 69 were on the scene. Fire officials say they got the call around 9:30 p.m.

The paramedic who came to her aid said he performed CPR about 200-300 yards west of the traffic light at Bowdoin Street and Temescal Canyon Road.

The woman was taken to Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Officials said she appeared to have been at the graduation and may have been a relative of one of the graduates.
