Truck Accident in Sepulveda Pass Clogs Traffic

The father and son drivers of the two big rigs involved are injured in the crash Wednesday morning.

Two big rigs hauling dirt crashed and overturned near Mountain Gate Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard this morning around 8:45 a.m., injuring the trucks' drivers.  

According to the alert from the Los Angeles Fire Department, the two unnamed drivers were father and son and were transported to the hospital. Their injuries were not life threatening.

"Once we transfer the care, we don't follow it," said Erik Scott, public information officer for the LAFD, explaining why he didn't know more details on the incident.

As of 11 a.m., traffic remained slow through the Sepulveda Pass, including Sepulveda Boulevard and along Mullholland Drive.
