Teen Driver Arrested After Hitting Cars in Palisades

The driver had allegedly been drinking with three others prior to the arrest, according to Palisades Patrol.

A teen suspected of driving drunk was arrested after smashing into cars on Via de la Paz in Pacific Palisades on Nov. 26 at about 9 a.m., according to .

Palisades Patrol told Patch that a state ranger put out a call when he heard a crash near the at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Via de la Paz. When Palisades Patrol Senior Lead Officer Eric Fine and Officer Neal Robertson responded to the call, the ranger told the officers he found four intoxicated teenagers whose car was stuck at the crash scene.

Palisades Patrol said the Los Angeles teens had allegedly been drinking along the bluffs off of Via del la Paz. Upon exiting the bluffs, the driver hit several cars along Via de la Paz before finally crashing into the last vehicle in front of the 76 station, according to a report from Palisades Patrol officers.

Palisades Patrol remained on the scene until police arrived. The officers said the driver was taken into LAPD custody and the car was impounded. The three other teens were released, according to Palisades Patrol.

Palisades Patrol did not report any injuries due to the incident.
