Rash of Burglaries in Beach Communities, Wealthy Neighborhoods

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, burglars may be targeting wealthy neighborhoods and beach communities.
Sources tell the LA Times that there was a surge in burglaries since Thanksgiving and that burglars have been hitting areas like Pacific Palisades, Bel-Air, Playa Vista and Brentwood.
Officials told the LA Times there have been 100 burglaries in the city of Los Angeles so far this year.
