If you listen to KNX radio they have traffic on the "5" and it was on their reports starting early in the morning. It is worth always checking it. They cover the Westside and give lots of info. People are great about calling and giving them the latest. Maybe the police should listen too!!!

I was stuck there as well with no detour sign for the downed power line. Then I took Amalfi and half way down cars were being asked to turn around and not sure why that happened at that intersection. I called 311 to talk to traffic and highway safety and they give you a voice mail. thought 311 was supposed to help us! It was a mess and Chautauqua Backed way up. Where were the traffic personal helping out? Also, i listened to KNX and nothing on it, just the downed motorcycle rider on the 405 north which affected me as well trying to get to westwood!!!!

I was biking through the closed area of Sunset at about 11am and there was a Mustang embedded in the utility pole, which was knocked about halfway over. Why wasn't that mentioned in the report?

This was all the news wire had. That's great additional information. Thanks!
